Solisco: transforming printing through innovation and sustainability
Solisco was founded by two entrepreneurs from Quebec in 1991. Nearly 35 years later, the company is now a leader in the printing industry thanks to its astute blend of technological and environmental innovation.
Solisco is fully committed to its focus on quality and durability, whether by inventing new methods of recycling paper and ink, guaranteeing environmental compliance or creating ingenious value-added products.
“Solisco takes the initiative for your company. With the paper industry in constant development, it is crucial to keep up.”
– Alain Jacques, President of Solisco
We are continually investing in advanced technology and eco-responsible practices to reduce our environmental impact while optimizing our production processes. One example is the purchase of a Heidelberg Speedmaster CX 104 printing press for our main facility, which has doubled our printing capacity without affecting our electricity consumption.
Solisco is also one of the Canadian printers with certification from the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC), guaranteeing traceability of the paper used, from forest to final product. And this is just one of the things we’re doing to prevent deforestation.
We are also proud to be part of the renowned international reforestation program PrintReleaf. This seal ensures that for every set amount of paper we use, an equivalent number of trees is planted. This means every customer is guaranteed a neutral paper-use footprint and an active role in reforestation, while receiving a flawless product as well.
From prepress to web printing, nothing is left to chance. The paper used at Solisco’s facilities checks all the boxes for the most stringent quality and sustainability standards and also offers competitive pricing for your projects, regardless of their size.
At Solisco, we know printing inside and out, and we’re happy to share our expertise with you. Our tailored advice will ensure your production goals are met successfully at the highest level of quality.
